indeed he is...and this must be a most interesting day for Black Americans...is it now time to discard things like Affirmative Action and talk of discrimination in this country since Obama has proven that even a 1/2 black person can climb to the top of the mountain? when I say 1/2 black person that is really what Obama is wouldn't you all agree?
Who cares about the color of his skin. I do not care if he is purple as long he works to fix this country. I did not vote for him but I will listen to him. He is our President for the next 4 years. Put everything aside and support the elected person. Obama may not be who you voted for but he is in. To much talk about the first black pres already. It was going to happen sometime. He is smart, has some good ideas and no one can question how hard he works.
As for the most interesting day for Black America. Not even close this will be an interesting time for all of America. What do you think he is going to give Black America a big tax break or something? This shows you are still living in the past. You comment is border line offensive to tell you the truth. Also the PC term is African American get it right.
But hey I would expect nothing more then a twisted comment from OG. You say alot but never have any ideas of your own. You are the longest running wind bag on these boards. twisted thinking?? not really...think about it...Obama is technically BIRACIAL but he is presented in the media as an African American. And then if you want to say that he is the first African American to be elected to the highest office in the land doesn't that then eliminate the notion that all other African Americans with ability cannot also rise to the top? doesn't his election in effect remove all of the excuses that have commonly been offered that suggested that it was not possible in America for something like this to ever happen? What Obama has done has turned the whole thing upside down. Personally I think it's a joy to see this new reality but certainly not one that I honestly expected to see in my lifetime.
Barry Hussein Obama WILL be a disaster. Enjoy the next four years of what essentially is a black Jimmy Carter.
