Endicott and Warren Street

I have been told I am nuts because I have said that the area near the old school admin building is hardly a residential area.

Well, this image might explain why I see it as NOT just a residential area. In fact, it is not even close if you think of just the properties in the immediate vicinity.

This is a google Maps image with MY OWN interpretation of the land use.

But... you decide. {click on the image for a larger view}

Nothing personal PI, but if you ask me, it looks to be a 50 - 50 split betweent the city properties and residential. If you consider the condos section as residential (which you should), then the residential area far outweighs all other land use types. Looks like a residential area to me.

Depends on the area in question... if you just consider a hundred yards in each direction it is not so easy to dismiss.

My point was not that this was a high density business area, but it is very mixed use now and this site could easily go the way of any of the other uses besides residential.

And, of course condos are residences, but the density issue is very different from a zoning standpoint.
